Not much is known of the Outer Lands. There are other continents across oceans of nearly limitless fury and extent. It is said that they are uncivilized places, and that those few people have managed to survive the local beasts and twisted humanoid races, have been rewarded with living in the shadows of greater tyrants.

In the margin, next to the word "tyrants," Solomon has written "Dragon? Possible. Devil -- Cornugon?"
